Nomination Petition & Affidavit of Candidacy for the Burlington City Council may be picked up at City Hall, City Clerks office, 2nd Floor, 400 Washington Street or at the Des Moines County Courthouse, Auditors office, 2nd Floor, 513 North Main Street.

There are two openings for the City Council.

The first day that candidates may file their nomination petition is Monday, August 10, 2015.

The last day that candidates may file their nomination petition is Thursday, August 27, 2015 by 5 p.m. in the Des Moines County Courthouse, Auditors office, 2nd Floor, 513 North Main Street.

18 eligible elector signatures are needed.

Primary Election: October 6, 2015 (if necessary) Special Election: November 3, 2015

Dog/Cat License

License your dog or cat at City Hall.
You must provide written proof of rabies vaccination from your veterinarian.
$10.00 per animal
